I don't know if this has been a bad year for this place for security or not, but I've been here for almost a year and it's been crazy. It started in the fall when 3-4 cars were broken into in the fall, and since then there have been many more car break-ins, apartment break-ins, and also the girl that was held at gunpoint as talked about in this article

We get these notes from the management every so often saying they are going to make security improvements like pruning shrubs, saying they are contacting police to increase their presence after dark. Management say they have a courtesy officer, but noone I've talked to have ever seen them walking around. This is a pretty decent complex, with great location, but be very careful if you are a single girl and do move here, and if you have even a semi-nice car or any custom electronics that are visible you better get a garage.

hi- your news link doesn't work anymore. i think the story got kicked off with all of the recent storm stuff... Can you summarize what happened, or find another link? How much is a private garage?? have there been any apartment break-ins?!
