I wanted to comment on what a horrible experience living at the Cambridge has been. In addition to the inability to keep maintenance employees, the turnover rate for managers has been ridiculous. No one stays in the main office for more than a month, per average. They have to call in someone from their corporate office to run the leasing office while searching for another manager. Additionally, the premises is simply not safe to walk in after dark. As a female living alone, I have obtained a gun license to be able to sleep at night. I cannot walk my dog after dark, and am frequently aware of persons on the property who do not live there. Although a "courtesy" officer lives on the property, she is not around often, and does not patrol "frequently" as the leasing office has assured residents she would. When complaints have been issued to the leasing office regarding an epidemic of apartment breakins and car breakins, the leasing office has simply replied that the tenants name would be put on a "list." A list''' What does that even mean' For that matter, what is a "list" going to accomplish' This place is simply dispicable, and I cannot stand being terrified in my own apartment. As for the leasing office saying they were "cooperating with local law enforcement" in regards to the crime epidemic, these "law enforcement" personnel have taken 45 minutes at least to arrive when called. Imagine having your door kicked in in the middle of the night and waiting forty-five minutes for help to arrive. No excuse.

This is completely untrue! I live at the Cambridge at Buckhead and they do not go through managers on a monthly basis. Sadly, one of the finest managers is no longer there since she took a job closer to her home in the suburbs. The maintenance men are the same. Anyone with real estate experience knows that property management/leasing offices are not the most fun places to be.
The property is extremely safe! I see children playing out at night -- 9pm. I regularly walk my dog around the entire complex between the hours 9:00 p.m. and midnight for a 30-minute walk. I have never seen any problems or questionable characters.
Sometimes city living causes us to experience crime. Cambridge at Buckhead is definitely a safe place. I would recommend it highly.
