I never expected for any apartment I lived in to be perfect, and this one hasn't been, but it could have been worse. I had the same problem as a previous person had mentioned: black feet, and I DO clean my carpet. There isn't padding under the carpet so it isn't too terribly comfortable. I've never seen any mold, but I don't live on the basement floor, but it has smelled musky in my apartment, and I never could tell where it was coming from. I really liked the maintenance staff. They have always been extremely friendly. Yes, sometimes things they fixed would immediately break again, but they would always come back, and I never had to wait long. As for the staff, Renee is defintely the most helpful person in the office. I preferred the old staff to the new one although I have not had too much contact with these new people. My biggest two complaints are my noisy upstair neighbor and the problems I had the day I moved in. They had obviously rented my apartment to someone else because when I got my keys and unlocked the door to start unloading, someone already lived there!! When I went back to the office, they gave me another set of keys to another apartment that someone lived in!! No one really apologized for this ever and I think someone should have because I didn't ever throw a fit even though I had to change all my utilties, address, etc... I will not miss my upstairs neighbor. Like any apartment, you can here people walking around, but he had bass constantly. I complained almost every night, and finally, after almost a year, the noise quit...maybe he just moved out. As far as apartments go, I don't think this one is so bad. I would probably even stay here if I didn't need more room...
