I've lived at Camden Brookwood since June of '07 and since I've been here there have been nothing but problems. The management staff seems slightly clueless and is less than accommodating. My rent is outrageous, but I knew this going into it, obviously. The location isn't worth the price and the traffic you battle daily is miserable. I try my hardest to never travel anywhere between 4 and 7 pm. It's just ludicrous! I'm told the crime rate is the highest in the area. A couple of days ago I came home to flashing lights of a cop car by which a mid-twenty year old male was discussing his brush with death. He'd be robbed at gunpoint in the stairwell of his building. Not half a month ago there where several car break-ins reported and scares about forced entry. I've bought a German shepherd since I moved in. Parking, though adequate isn't necessarily safe. I always feel uneasy coming home at night simply because the stairwells of the parking garage are poorly lit and never monitored. The utilities are comparatively low, and the accommodations are nice enough, but the lack of safety and poor management overshadows any resemblances of a "homely" feeling.

This can happen anywhere in a major city and I have lived in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas if you think you have problems here just move to another large city and then give me some feed back. I think you will find that Camden Brookwood is worth the location and the complex is great. The management has taken all the steps to help keep out the thugs and getto that brings in the crime. They have installed new gates and has police that patrol the complex. What else do you people think someone can do beside lock you inside your own world GROW UP>
