Ok, I moved into this place last year because I fell in love with the location and was given a great special move-in rate. I soon realized what a mistake I had made. First, the apartment itself smelled like mildew when I moved in, my wall was painted another color and was nothing like the model apartment I was shown. I can never get any sleep because I can hear my neightbor above me make his every move (who is a known coke head) The maintenance staff takes forever to come fix things. I come home to find that there was a leak in the upstairs air-conditioner causing water to leak all over my computer-work station area and there was of course water damage, thank god I had renter's insurance. Now to the scary part, the men in this commmunity scare me, they stare at you like your a piece of meat and it seems as if one particular guy waits near the stairwell of where my apartment is located, to greet me every other day, like he knows my work schedule. WTFFFF its not cute nor flattering its kind of strange and weird. Cops are always being called here. And it seems as if every other day I get a notice in my door about car and apartment break-ins. I try not to be out late if I am coming home by myself and I shouldn't have to feel that way. Would I recommend this place, NO NO NO NO you will be sorry!!!

I think this is a bit of over dramatizing here. I've been here for 2 years and have spoke with several who have been there longer. One, we are in the south - hello, we have to watch mold more often. Two, the maintenance staff are some of the nicest guys I've ever seen. Ever request I've put in has been handled in 1-2 days. They will even do things that many would not, such as change your track lighting bulbs. They even volunteer to take my trash to the garbage when they see me walking with it. Of course, I turn them down. The added service is certainly not necessary, but well noticed. Three, we are in the middle of a major city. Occasionally break ins will happen. The community is working to do numerous things to further prevent the problem such as new security surveilance systems and gates. There are several high dollar cars in our complex. It's a given that we will be targeted at one time or another.

ive been here 4 months, im a single female, ive never seen mold in my apartment, never had a man stare at me strangely, rarely hear the neighbors above me, live next to a stairwell, and never had a car break in letter during this time???

She's right about everything she's saying. There is no drama in her post. The noise level at this place is so bad to the point of me being able to hear my upstair's neighborg fart...YES! FART! I know acustics and I can tell you that if I have this place inspected, because of the poor noise isolation, they would get fined for sure. The break-ins are NOT occasional. If you really live here you know there were 29 break-ins JUST during the last Christmas season...even the staff disclosed this info to people living there so they would "take precautions"! I have never had a man staring at me but I didn't feel safe as well...and yes, the best thing this place has is it maintenance staff...they are GREAT, super nice and thoughtful!
