I currently live in Camden Brookwood and I absolutely HATE it. IT IS NOT SAFE. In the 7 months I've lived here there have been several break ins and a girl was robbed and "sexually assaulted" in the parking deck. The front office will not help you with any issues you have. I have had to call the police on the girl who lives above me several times and they refuse to do anything about it. Also, we believe someone on the maintenance staff stole money from my apartment. I read reviews on this place before I moved in and ignored them. I REALLY WISH I HADN'T. Don't come to regret it too.

I see things haven't changed at Camden Brookwood. I moved from this dump a year ago and left my review. I warned single females to not move into these crappy/dangerous apt homes. I told how the men in that area seemed shady and how one guy in particular seemed to know my work schedule and always seem to try to make eye contact with me. Don't do it to yourself, this place in the worst.

I'm kind of curious if the people who rage out on this site ever approach their neighbors or leasing staff on what the community can do as a whole to make the area a better place to live. Which by the way, it's not that bad. There are occasional security issues, but not anything uncommon to inner city Atlanta. If you want complete security in a city or most anywhere else, then you better talk to a contractor about building you a bomb shell that you never come out of. The girl who was assaulted was reportedly coming home alone at something like 4 a.m. I feel for her to have to go through that, but that was not the most street smart move. What I find more disturbing is how few people are interested in knowing their neighbors. Any other community I've lived in (other cities unfortunately) have had self started neighborhood watch programs or other type of programs. They don't sit on their butts & wish someone else would do it, be it a leasing agent or another neighbor. They start it on their own. If you want a better community, then take action. Don't just gripe & lash out on internet sites. Talk to your leasing office. Talk to your neighbors. See what you can do to help, not hurt. For the rest of us here who know its not that bad of a place to live, we'll just continue on being happy & not miserable.

I'm curious about the people who monitor the apartment ratings websites. Makes me wonder if you work at said apartment complex. I have spoken with my loud ass neighbor upstairs, when that didn't work I called the front office-they wrote a letter which only made the girl above me jump up and down in the middle of her apartment then stomped back and forth for about 20 min. I've talked to the office again several times and still nothing has changed.

I actually work at an apartment community and we do not have any control over what is said on these websites. We actually read them and laugh because we know exactly which resident submitted each response. And what they have to say is usually an EXTREME EXAGGERATION or completely untrue. I have lived at Camden Brookwood for about 10 months and I don't really have any complaints. The staff has completely changed and the new office staff is pretty nice. Maintenance is actually really good, they almost always complete my work orders the same day I submit them. I will say that the people who come on this website and bash their community are usually "problem residents" who either break the rules and get in trouble with management, are overly-----, or just unhappy complainers. As far as crime goes, THIS IS ATLANTA! There is no community in Atlanta (especially Midtown/Buckhead) that is crime free, so if you want to live at a property with little to no crime, you might want to move to another county. The only problem that I have with this property is that you cannot have Comcast, but that's not management's fault. Overall, Camden Brookwood has been great for me!
