I've lived at Camden Brookwood for almost a year now and I have not had any serious issues, I would definitely recommend the property for any individual that wants city living without paying an arm and a leg for rent. I do agree with the previous comments about the new staff. The manager is quite rude and the leasing professionals are (relatively) friendly, but in a very fake/robotic way. The old staff (Ren, Sam, and Greg) was AWESOME! They were consistently helpful, friendly, and genuine and it's too bad that they are gone. I will say that the current maintenance team is great. They ALWAYS complete my work orders on the same day that I submit them. However in the current management' defense, they cannot be blamed for the break-ins/fires/robberies. Robberies and car break-ins are something that happens at most Midtown/Buckhead properties. And management, gates, security guards probably cannot prevent that. However management definitely needs to be more proactive in notifying residents when these situations occur so that we can take necessary precautions. Overall, I like living here, and I will probably renew because of convenience, but the staff definitely needs some customer-service training ASAP!

I am moving into Camden in two weeks. I am concerned about the different comments I've read on this site. When I visited the property, I spoke to a few of the tenants that I saw walking around and they said relatively positive things about the place. They most certainly didn't mention anything about break-ins or robberies which seems to be common in the latest posts. Should I back out now before I sign a lease? Is there anything else I should be aware of besides the rude property manager?
