I've lived here for the past 3 months and absolutely love it. When I started shopping for apartments, I looked at apartment ratings for every complex I viewed. I was horrified about the idea of living in an apartment after living in condos and houses for the past 10 years. No matter how well maintanined the property looked, friendliness of the maintenance staff, or condition of the apartment, all of the comments were mostly negative. I decided to take a chance on the Camden. I'm happy I did.

The maintenance staff is wonderful. I think the guy who fixed my garbage disposal is Gene. I shop around town often and haven't experienced such excellent customer service in awhile. I placed a maintenance request online around 11 pm. Gene arrived in the morning at 8:30 am with a smile, positive attitude, and fixed the problem shortly. In addition to that, the management company sent a survey I could fill out to ensure the problem was fixed promptly and I was pleased with the service.

Last weekend, I was washing my car in the car care area and the machine was apparently out of soap. A maintenance worker was close by. I informed him that the machine was out of soap. He apologized and let me know an order had been placed for a refill. A minute later he appeared with a bottle of premium car wash liquid and soaped up the brush for me. He also added money to the machine to make up for the time I lost washing my car without soap. I couldn't believe it. I'm a stickler for great customer service and I must say my experience here has been first class.

I've always believed that you get what you give. If you are rude and nasty with management; don't expect them to be cordial to you. If you leave your car unlocked with your personal belongings inside, dont be surprised if someone opens your door and takes your belongings! Be friendly to your neighbors, pay your rent on time, be cordial to the leasing staff , take your personal belongings out of your car in the evening and lock the doors and you'll have a wonderful stay here. P.S. I'm not a staff member here. Just a satisfied resident who understands the power of complainers through my sales and business management experience. The management company here is obviously doing their best to create a fun, relaxing, safe living environment at affordable prices in some of the best real estate Atlanta has to offer. On top of that, if you don't like it they allow you to sublet it to someone else who will appreciate it and move on!!! All the complainers on this board should seriously consider this option and take your whining elsewhere. Maybe you'll apppreciate what you had once you're gone.

I'm thinking about leasing there but it appears that you are sucking up to management...by saying that other posters are whining I'm looking for facts not a moral compass...(sucking up meaning you put your name on your post thats a little suspect..)

Honestly...I dont even live there anymore. It was my gf apt but I states there alot because I hated my roommate and I liked the diversity in the complex and of course the convenience. Their referral program is B.S. though. I ran an ad in Craigslist to find someone to take over my gf lease. In the process a couple that looked at her studio decided to get a different apt so of course they owed her a referral fee for that. We ended up finding someone within a month to take over the lease and my gf was able to walk away completely from the lease but that was over 2 months ago and the referral check they said they were sending still hasnt made its way to the mailbox!!! I had 4-5 ppl per day coming to look at apts off ads I ran and sure that there were probably more people who ended up leasing something over there. The least they couldnt done is showed some appreciation by paying out the referral fee. So by all means move over there, dont waste your time referring anyone, keep valuables out of your vehicles and lock your door. Good luck in your apt search
