Looks are deceiving...

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004
I moved in back in May of 2003 and found it to be somewhat affordable and nice looking. After living in the complex, my tune has greatly changed.
The management is completely worthless. The people who work in the office are poorly trained and are not able to assist you properly. They could care less about providing good service to you- the monthly rent check is their only concern.
As far as security goes, well basically there is absolutely none. The gate system has been in disarray since I moved in- sometimes they function, most of the time they don't and are left completely open. This has not been fixed over the entire year that I have lived there. It's basically a welcome mat for any criminal to waltz in and steal. I had my car stereo stolen.
There are dogs everywhere and you may as well forget about relaxing at the pool- kids everywhere make it impossible. They hang out in mobs and are so noisy. It's more like a school/daycare than an upscale "luxury" apartment complex.
Maintenance is basically useless. I asked them to fix the light in the bathroom since it was coming loose from the wall and leaning over... well, they barely tightened down on it- it still sags. The touch up painting that was done when we moved it was very splotchy and it looked almost like a totally different color. We have also had a problem with our tub draining properly. Water drains very slowly and backs up into the tub when you shower. Maintenance has come 4-5 times but have only used temporary fixes (i.e., drain cleaner). Roaches and ants have also been a problem.
Their so called car washing area is in poor condition and has been for the year I've been there. The vacuum doesn't work at all and the hose leaks all over your car and sprays poorly.
I have not at all been impressed by Summit Club. I only wish I had found this site BEFORE I moved in. I can't wait until I leave that God-forsaken place.
