...but Camden Midtown was great. I lived there from April '07 until the very end of the year.
Look, I never give reviews or anything like that... I'm just not the type. Since the age of 18, I've pretty much been on my own and lived in different apartments in different cities. I've dealt with rats, roaches, mice, bad management--you name it. But Camden Midtown is clean, the management are very personable (they live in the complex themselves and are genuinely happy to see you, whether they are on or off duty) the crews come to fix whatever i need (whether big or small) either the day of or after i put in my request. I even get an email while at work to tell me that the work had been performed.
My unit was an amazing 2 story loft, with hard wood floors, and a great view of the northern part of Midtown Atlanta. In the summer, I could even see fireworks going off at Piedmont Park. Within walking distance there is a dry cleaner, walgreens, supermarket, package store, more than enough restaurants, and even a spa to treat a girlfriend or two to a facial, massage, or manicure. Toward the end of the year, they even took the money straight from my acct, so i wouldn't have to worry about whether or not my rent was on time.
The only problems i had was the pricing. It was definitely an expensive lifestyle, but it was worth it. There was also a break-in into my car. But i was asking for that by leaving an after-market high end CD player in plain view (that's why they give you the case for the face plate, people).
If anyone else types in how horrible it is, then i guess they just had a different experience than I did--or they just weren't doing right.
