Management is horrible!

Management changes over more often than anywhere else I've ever lived. The office staff is very unprofessional and does not treat residents with much respect. Every time we've gone into the office or have called them for anything, they immediately have gone on the defensive. I think this is because they have so many unhappy residents that even if you're just going in to drop off your rent check, they assume you are coming in to tell them something else is wrong. This is unfortunate, because it perpetuates the negative environment. The only positive features of this complex are the location and the free Body Sculpting and Yoga classes offered in the gym. The gym itself though is in a very sad and unsafe state. They only have outdated cardio & weight machines, half of which are unfunctional. The air conditioner in the gym was out of service for three months this summer! I know a lot of my neighbors called to request that it be repaired too and we were all greeted with short, rude answers and no action. One last note, that I don't even know if the complex can really do anything about is the rat infestation that has been going on for the last year. We've seen several cat sized rats running around the perimeter of the pool and along the sides of the apartment buildings. My neighbor said he saw maintenance pull a dead one OUT OF THE POOL this summer too! We are leaving as soon as our lease is up. Save yourself the trouble and find yourself a nicer place.
