THIS PLACE NEEDS A LOT OF WORK. THE GATES NEVER WORKS THEREFORE ITS NOT SECURE AT ALL. HERE WE ARE PAYING FOR A GATED COMMUNITY THAT IS INFESTED WITH THIEVES. I KNOW THAT THERE IS CRIME EVERYWHERE BUT CAMELOT HOLDS THE #1 SPOT IN THIS AREA. OUR VECHILE WAS BROKEN INTO TWICE AND A NEIGHBORS TRUCK WAS LEFT ON BLOCKS. IN ALL OF MY YEARS OF LIVING IN APTS, I'VE NEVER KNOWN ALL 4 TIRES TO BE GONE IN THE MORNING. THINK TWICE BEFORE MOVING HERE. PIZZA HUT WILL NOT EVEN DELIVER HERE ANYMORE BECAUSE THEIR DELIVERY GUY WAS ROBBED AT THIS COMPLEX!!!! THERE IS A PROGRAM THAT IS BEING OPERATED OUT THIS COMPLEX THAT IS CALLED WOMEN FIRST(OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT) FOR WOMEN WHO ARE NOW CLEAN FROM DRUGS AND NEED ASSISTANCE. THERE ARE 16 UNITS THAT ARE BOUGHT OUT BY THIS PROGRAM AND LIVED IN BY THESE FAMILIES. NOW I AM ALL FOR HELPING SOMEONE GET THEIR LIFE BACK ON TRACK AND I COMMEND THIS EFFORT BY THIS PROGRAM BUT IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF CAMELOT TO MAKE ITS TENANTS AWARE OF THIS BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH THESE TENANTS ARE BETTERING THEIR LIVES NOW, ITS NOT TO SAY THAT THEIR VISTORS ARE MAKING THAT SAME EFFORT. PLEASE JUST DRIVE BY THIS PLACE AS FAST AS YOU CAN UNLESS YOU LIKE CRIME! ALSO THE WALLS ARE SO THIN THAT I CAN HEAR MY NEIGHBORS CONVERATIONS AND MUCH OTHER ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE.

I am sorry if you have experienced a negative issue with us here at Camelot at Northlake. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service to our current and future residents and strive to ensure a sense of community. We choose to open the gates during office hours for the convenience of our residents. If a gate is damaged by a vehicle, or malfunctions we have a company that responds very quickly to repairs leaving little room for downtime.
Unfortunately, crime has no address but we do have a Dekalb County Police Officer living on site. If you have concerns we urge you to contact the after hours telephone number to reach the courtesy officer. I am not sure of the source of your crime statistics; however, I am confident that they are incorrect. I am the property manager of the community; I have an open door policy and I encourage all of our residents to contact me. Our goal is to continue to make Camelot at Northlake a wonderful place to call home.
