I'll try to be factual and objective and I'll limit my comments to my personal experience. Staff was friendly but not exceedingly competent. There was on exception, Veronica in maintenance was very receptive and cooperative. Parking in my area was ample however the parking lot lights were out more than they were on and the parking lot is scary and potentially dangerous at night since visibility was very poor. Although there are signs posted, children frequently play for hours on the weekends in the parking lot. Noise level was generally acceptable with a few exceptions. The grounds surrounding my area were frequently littered with candy wrappers, cans, bottles and half empty take out food containers. Someone urinated almost daily in my stairwell. Landscaping is fair. Safety: well, my perception of my safety is affected by several factors: a major crack bust next door in which 10 men were arrested out of one apartment; A SWAT team incident in the complex; the steady stream of homeless people and shelter residents (The state sex offender registry shows some offenders using the surrounding missions as their home addresses), some of whom know the access code to the building and do not hesitate to wait out a storm in your stairwell; and the fact that the parking lot can be completely dark at night. I only felt safe inside my locked apartment and was always uneasy going to/from my car . Furthermore, there were several times when I came home from work when there were individuals smoking an illegal substance in the stairwell. Construction- no defects observed except for vandalism (burn marks) on vinyl siding that is unrepaired. My disposal had a rock and a spoon in it when I moved in. My dryer vent hose was not connected and caused my dryer to vent into the apartment. I fixed it myself. Maintenance- they seem willing but are somehow unable to repair the lights in the parking lot. They were very courteous to me. Office staff are worth what they are paid- freindly enough but adequate at best. Overall: I will not renew. No one told me that this development accepts housing aid or subsidies or whatever you call it. We had people living close by who were receiving govt housing assistance. And we witnessed the crime and lack of care that residents of such communities endure. The combination of not feeling safe at night because of the lights, the everpresent wandering homeless, and police activity make this a place I personally will avoid. It's a shame- since the location can't be beat and the prices are reasonable.

I too had packages stolen from my doorstep and two cards were broken into.
