Because everyone that lives here is either leaving due to eviction or is counting the days until their lease is up! Unfortunately, it has not always been this bad. When we first moved in this was a great place to live. The incidents were so minor that we even renewed our lease. Now we are wishing we had not. We certainly will not renew it again! Here are some reasons you should consider NOT moving here:

1) Crime is a SERIOUS problem!
a) The "security" gates are always broken and anyone can drive in.
b) The walk-in gates are constantly left open so some tenants can give their friends who don't live here easy access...unfortunately, this causes random to people (even homeless people) to enter the property and harass residents for money.
c) The clubhouse was vandalized and computers were stolen from the office.
d) Many cars have been broken into and even stolen.
e) There have been what appear to be late-night drug deals going down in front of one building.

2) It looks high class but the people are low class.
a) There were hip-hop parties every Sunday by the pool over the Summer where certain tenants invited all of their friends.
b) There are a few garages that people appear to be living out of, probably as the rent is only $100 a month.
c) Children run around the property unsupervised.
d) People fly around corners of the narrow streets with no regard to who or what may be ahead.
e) Loud music is blared from tenant’s cars as late a 4AM.

3) Management SUCKS!!!
a) They are very nice to you when they are trying to get you rent from them or even renew your lease. Then after you’re locked in they treat you as if you are an inconvenience anytime you need something.
b) They constantly make mistakes on receiving checks and false notices are sent to your door threatening eviction for non-payment.
c) The manager Renee never returns phone calls and is usually too busy to be bothered.
d) They seem to have absolutely NO criteria as to who they will rent to as long as they can show upper-management that they are filling apartments.
d) The 24-Hour On-site Security Officers are a huge joke and don't want to be bothered with your complaints...especially if means confronting other tenants.

4) The place is SERIOUSLY over-priced for what you get.
a) When it first opened they could charge high-rents based on their amenities, which are slowly being weeded away.
b) They have had their limited-time "Move-In Special" sign up for months now and we were told that it would end at the first month it was put up.
c) We were pressured to renew with the threat of being charged full-market rent if we went month-to-month. After signing for another 7, Renee misplaced the paper work and she told us if we chose to go month-to-month, our rent would only increase $100.
d) What people pay greatly varies for the same apartment as they seem to have the philosophy that those of us paying higher rent can balance out the ones paying lower rent.

This place looks great from the outside but once you are in you will wish you had never stopped by. Do yourself a huge favor and find another place to live. Maybe it will send the management a message that they need to take serious measures to change things for those of us who were not so lucky.

The security gates are not ALWAYS BROKEN.. the "hip hop" parties that where going on when worthington owned it are LONG GONE..The place is seriously out of your ability to pay is what Im getting from what you typed.. and OF COURSE you will be charged full market rent if you go month to month its an industry standard not a threat. what buisness is it of yours what others pay for thier rent???? Some times deals are run sometimes they arent depends on when you are looking... The police officers that act as security officers are in NO WAY "afraid " to confront anyone.
