Well just fyi for those that are not used to living in apartments in Atlanta- car break ins and noisy neighbors are rather normal. Based on reading some of these reviews, there doesn't seem to be much difference between these apartments and others I've been to. I've seen much nicer and more expensive complexes that deal with the same crime issues and noise problems.

Moving right along, I have not been at this complex that long, but so far it's been good. I met my neighbor above me; he's cool and QUIET. I consider myself lucky on that one. Parking sucks when I come in at like 3am, which means I have to use the parking garage. I was slightly irritated when I moved in b/c some bulbs were out and a door stop was broke. The lady that did my walk-thru made note; however, it wasn't fixed. I came back 2 1/2 weeks later to remind them and it was done the next day. Also, the garbage dumpster sucks; I'm starting to think it really doesn't work. Lastly, I noticed a lot of gnats flying around and I get really irritated by flying bugs. However, I have sprayed bug spray all over my balcony and front door, and that really helped.

Now I've been here for 6 months. I see a lot of people complain about management. However, I personally have had no problems with them. I usually run into Jonda (sic) or Tyrra. Both have always been pleasant. They know me by name and my son by face since I come into the office regularly for random reasons. Matter of fact, recently, another staff member was extremely helpful when my 7 y/o son's elementary school made a serious mistake by dropping him at the apartments with no one there when he was not supposed to be on the bus.

I do agree that the place is rather pricey! But it's expected. Apartments in general, are overpriced. Hello Gables! What I don't like, is the garbage always full, overcapacity and broke. The recent gate problems...well that stuff happens. I didn't check the company records to determine if there was some unreasonable delay in getting them fixed recently so I won't knock them for taking almost 2 weeks.

The place is what you expect. It's an apartment community with apartment dwellers. Homeowners usually cringe at apartment dwellers and in some cases it understandable. These apartments are at least better than many others you'll see in the city.

This was obviously written during business hours by the leasing office staff posing as residents. Most people are working at this time and if surfing the internet would not just happen to get on an apartment ratings website to write a rave review. Pretty clever to try and boost your ratings.

I am wondering why everytime someone has something nice to say about what ever complex there is always some person quick to write that it must be an associate of the complex. I lived in these apartments with a friend of mine about 4 years ago when it was brand new. I have since moved 3 times since, always looking for something better and cheaper and wow I sure miss this complex. It was by far the best complex I have lived in Atlanta. I am actually thinking of moving back in Sept but I think it's a little too overpriced still.

Four years ago it was a different complex with a different management company. And as an Emory Alum (not that academic affiliation really matters!) This complex is the worse!
