I've been a tenant since 2006...never been late, never had complaints, never been complained about. Granted I didn't like the old management company, but they were atleast reasonable. The new company is a scam. One day, I returned from a business trip on the the 3rd, a Sunday, and I dropped my rent in the box 8am Monday morning. They returned my entire rent saying I was late and had to pay $865 (concessions late fee). After talking to mgmt, they went down to $385 since I had never been late and started the eviction process when I didn't have the money to pay within five days. When I gave to 60 day notice to leave, they began to find anything they could to penalize me for...hoping I would stay. They would leave me messages one week saying I owed $20 for water, then leave me notes asking if I would stay longer. Then I found out they came in my apartment one day to do an "inspection" and did not give me any type of notice. I did not have my 5lb dog on the lease so they charged me $310. For those that have not registered your pets, I hope you realize that in the contract they can send your animal to the Humane Society or a kennel without your consent and you will have to pay boarding fees.
My friend just moved out also after being there for over four years. When she moved out, she had to settle out of court and ended up paying $2000 for stupid fees like a stain on the carpet that they considered was not "normal wear & tear".
And lately they have been renting to college students like this is a dorm. They are loud and come in at 4am drunk and staggering up the steps every weekend. I was finally over it when I saw vomit on the stairs that had not been cleaned up after 3 days.
Yes the location is great. Yes the apartments are nice. But the management is only concerned with money! And it seems like every month we get a notice about car and apartment break ins! Think twice before moving here! And be sure to read your lease fully!

I am considering moving to this property but I have a question after reading your review...
You stated that "The new company is a scam" but from your own admissions you did not follow the rules. So who scammed whom? Did you have any complaints that were not a result of your actions or just the noisy neighbor? If it's just the 1 bad neighbor, I think I should be fine. I'll be sure to read my lease before I sign it. Thanks for the tip. Hey, maybe we'll be neighbors!

wow. I can believe it.I have been there for 3 years and she is stating I have stains. But what do you think when you are leasing for that length of time. All apartments re do carpet. I have never been late either and I also ask formy carpet to be clean and the guy who did it half ass did it. I requested another visit and never heard a word about anyone coming back to re-do what was never done. These people must be stopped because this is unlawful and unethical. There isalways going to be normal wear and tear. I have 3 children and my place was in perfect condition and I made sure I took pictures. Lorra then decided to take pictures and wrote all this untruthful mess about carpet and walls and drawers being dirty. Of course I could not go back infor her to prove it to me because the walk through was final. I will see her in court in due time. She is a harrasser and I have numerous emails lettersand picyures to prove.

All I have learned from this post is to follow the rules on a signed legal document. Shocking! I had no idea that when I put my signature on something I actually have to obey or else I get penalized. You're right! That is a scam. Any BUSINESS that wants MONEY is a scam. How dare they!
