Ok, they will probably know who I am, but at this point I don't care.
When I moved in I had numerous problems, such as, my bathroom toilet seat was broken, the shower head leaked which would flood my bathroom, and the carpet had large bleach stains from the previous tenant. I decided to suck it up because I liked the area and the other tenants seemed to be nice.
After I moved in my apartment flooded 3 TIMES, and it took several calls to maintenance to FINALLY fix the problem. Because my apartment flooded the door frame shifted and one night I could not close my front door. I called emergency maintenance 5 TIMES, and NO ONE CAME until 9:00 the next morning...which meant I had to sleep with my front door unlocked and cracked open! Also, when they came to fix my washer dryer one time, the maintenance man tore a hole in the linoleum and never came to fix it.
The final straw was when I had terrible mold problems. My air conditioner started to leak and mold formed in the hallway. The maintenance came to fix the air, but left the mold. I later found mold in my bathroom and bedroom closet too, and NO ONE did anything about it until I took photos of it to the office. They finally came to fix it, but when they repainted they got paint on my phone, and my nightstand...not to mention that it is not the same color as the wall.
All this AND THEY RAISED MY RENT $40 A MONTH! I AM SO OUT OF HERE!!!!!

Let me also add, the clientele has REALLY gone down. When I moved here two years ago everyone seemed pretty nice...but because Summit wanted to fill it up before they changed management companies the apartments are now filled with wanna be gangsters. The gate rarely works, and when it does I have seem guys jumping the fence. Also, there are pit bulls here and every night almost I hear people running up and down the halls. A couple weeks ago a domestic dispute took place in the parking lot at 8:30 in the morning...and the cops were called. About six months ago there were a series of car break ins as well. The management also is a dissapointment up to this point (although Jeff has been helpful). Most of the time they were never in the office...I actually ran into them all at Felinis once. Another time there was a power outage, and no one coul dget the gates open...but guess who was "out to lunch?"...the entire leasing office...so you had about 20 cars all crammed trying to get into their apartments for 45 minutes. All in all, if you really want this location go to Berkely Run or the Stratford.

totally agree about the people running down the hallways...there have been many a night I wake up at 4am to children screaming, dogs barking, and people running by my window (not to mention the guy that lives in my attic--please refer to previous complaint about watchers and stalkers). Oh yeah, and the ravers that live next door and keep club Charleston Court open all night long (I think there is a $5 cover charge, if the dj is live, cost is $10.) I heard Oakenfold will be here Sat. Aug. 27th.
