When I first moved here it was an overall nice place to live. However, they were acquired by another company and began gutting the place, which would have been nice to know while signing the lease. This construction resulted in water being shut off without warning, construction noise starting at 7:30 AM and for some odd reason dumpsters being picked up at 4:00 AM. I was willing to disregard this when I moved to an upgraded unit because the construction was nearly complete, but this was a big mistake. The poor workmanship in the new unit started to show only a month after moving in, and the materials appear to have been bought from the clearance rack at the dollar store. The washer was broken the first time I turned it on, the towel rod fell off the wall, the faucet popped off the sink when turned on, and the cabinets were coming loose from their hinges. It usually takes about three trips by maintenance to correctly fix any problems. I do feel for the maintenance staff who will be working over-time just trying to keep this place from falling apart. Also the complex combined the water with trash pick-up over the summer for a monthly $35 fee. Soon after this they discontinued garbage pick-up so we're paying $35 for just water'! That is completely unethical and has resulted in garbage piling up outside the dumpster in the front of the complex. I would not recommend this complex to anyone as there are comparably priced properties in the area that offer better living standards.
