CHASTAIN TERRACE IS A TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE!!!!

I have lived in this community for almost 4 years. When I moved in Lane Company owned the property, when we were still Summer Terrace. I loved it. The staff (mgmt&maint.) were great. Now this place is terrible. With both Metric and Greystar the standard has gone down. We used to have Braves players and a former NFL player, now we have deadbeats. The pool is always nasty (the filters have never worked). The staff is rude. The noise levels from teenagers skateboarding, to them re-doing the old apartments, to random noise is high. Half of the teenagers skateboarding are from across the street. I complained for 9 months about my hot water heater not working and I took cold showers everyday during that time. It wasn't until I threatened them that they fixed it.

They are renovating the facilities, but are not offering any thing to the residents that live there now. When I went to resign the upped my lease so much I paniced trying to find a new place to live. The doubled the amount it went up from last year. They also offer no incentive to stay. They want all their old residents out. Most people have lived here way before me, but most and myself are leaving when their leases are up.

All the new renovations they have done on the grounds looks distasteful.

This is the 3rd community in Atlanta I have lived in and by far the worst
