Okay, I read the reviews, and a lot of the issues I can understand. It really makes a difference where in the complex you live. I had a place on Boulevard and it was soooo loud because of the hospital next door and the ghetto down the street. Now I live on a courtyard and its quite peaceful for the most part. I dont really notice the helicopters or parking garage noise. The only problem I have isnt with Cityview, it is with the few loud, rude, oblivious fellow residents. They are found everywhere though...
I love the parking garage, especially in the city. The kitchens look really nice, and everyone always comments on how nice the apartment looks. The management has always been fair and the maintainence is not at all slow, but then again, I pay my rent on time, and realize it might take a day to come out to replace my lightbulb.
The neighborhood is a little skecthy down by Ponce, but in general I like the area because you are in the middle of it all. Close to Midtown, Downtown, the Highlands, and Little Five Points. I really have enjoyed being in the city, and I have enjoyed living here for 2 years.
