I love my apartment but the walls are paper thin. All I hear all night every night is car alarms going off in the parking garage and ghetto ass people blasting rap music from their cars at all hours of the night. Just last night, a weeknight, at 3a.m. someone drove into the parking garage blasting rap music so loud that it set all the car alarms off as it drove up 3 floors then parked and sat there blasting the music for over 20 mins. It sucks cause my apartment is great and its so close to everything. Also that management are complete idiots. NEVER met humans that are so stupid. If you live here do anything in your power not to face the street or the parking garage, you'll never have a good nights sleep otherwise. I have to sleep with earplugs. Also, lots of kids at the pool. Never seen that before at an apartment complex and it becomes very annoying! I don't believe half that people that are always hanging out in the pool area live here.

OMG I absolutely agree. I cannot wait until my jail sentence, err, I mean my lease is up next year. I live facing the street and all I hear is bums arguing with each other every night, loud rap music, and that helicopter that is landing every 5 minutes at the hospital next door! And I swear someone is doing drug deals out of the one of the apartments adjacent to me. I cannot wait to get out of here. :(

Here's the deal. It really comes down to making the best choice for your personality, lifestyle, and level of sensitivity. I've been here for almost two years and I have not found it to be so terrible. However, if you are extremely disturbed by music, noise, and helicopters then perhaps you should reconsider moving to a location in the heart of the city, next to a hospital, and down the street from Old Fourth Ward. In general it is rare that an apartment complex will meet someone's total satisfaction, but as with anything, do your research on the area BEFORE you sign your lease. What works for one person may not for another. Downtown/midtown Atlanta has bums and people of all kinds play loud music (which does not mean they are "ghetto" because they play loud music nor is rap the only kind of music people play loudly and I'm also speaking from experience). I personally bump my Tchaikovsky to many people's disdain, but hey... But ultimately, this is the city. Move to the burbs if you are that sensitive to what some people so easily categorize as "ghetto ass people," or bums," and if you find loud music (not just rap music) reprehensible. Ultimately I don't disagree that there can seem to be a lot going on around here, but City View is FAR from being the ghetto and its far from the WORSE. Ultimately, don't give too much credit to someone else's opinion (mine included) just think about what you want in a location and keep in mind that if you are seeking perfection, perhaps you will never be satisfied no matter where you go.

^ I agree with you! How rude to say "ghetto ass people" I love blasting rap music and I'm a country white girl. AND living in a large city next to homeless shelters, and hospitals, you are going to get bums everywhere in Atlanta. Man, kids in a pool? duh!I have a freind live in City View and they love it! She never complained. Although when i visit, I will agree that the parking lot is annoyingly small.
