Great choice for the location. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/17/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008   We have been living here for a total of 2 years and our lease is up in April but we decided to resign our lease for another year. Since our move back in April 2006, we have not experienced anything but great service from the office and maintenance staff during the time it was managed by Fairfield Properties. Now it is under new management and it seems as though the office staff is still trying to get things in order. Hopefully, they will be able to meet the standard as the old management company did. I am going to give the Pros and Cons as to why we decided to continue to make Clifton Apartments our home for another year. When we moved to Atlanta back in 2004 we experienced living in unfit areas in order to survive until we came across Clifton Apartments. I mean, in the past we dealt with living with bugs and dealing with the possibilities of burglaries and theft happening within the community but those things don't happen here at Clifton. As we were thinking of moving to another area within the city, we started looking at the reviews of some of the apartments that we were considering. We were amazed and shocked of all the bad reviews and did not want to take a chance on having to learn a new community when we already know this area. You will have to deal with the parking if you move here. There are not enough parking spaces to accommodate the tenants nor any visitors. On the flip side, we pay a decent amount of rent for the area. You are close to Emory, Decatur, Buckhead, Midtown and Downtown Atlanta. This gives you are variety of places to shop and hang out from time to time with the feeling of being safe and not having to watch over your shoulder. Also at one time, the gates were never operating for whatever reason but they have been in working order since we have the new management company. We never worried if the gates were open because it is not a high crime area. Overall, this property has treated us well and this time we will think hard if we really want to stay here for year number 4. Clifton Apartments I can say have set the bar well above some of the other apartments within the area. This property has great pool and gas grill areas as well as a lighted tennis court. The grouds are well-kept. We also have a gated dog walk area and other designated areas for pets. The neighbors are friendly and are from all age groups. You dont have to worry much about noise or loud parties in the complex. If it is going on, at least we dont hear it in our building. Now dont get it twisted......There are plenty of Emory students here and I am sure that parties go on but I have not yet experienced it. People who live here are working class families. It is not a dump. I will recommend this community to anyone.
