Disappointing From: rentme99 Date posted: 12/10/2002 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002   Let's see...it's been some time since I've lived here (it used to be called Lincoln at DeFoors Apartments). I moved in just after college (July 1999) and moved out upon lease expiration (July 2000). First of all, the gated entrance NEVER worked. So much for unwanted visitors. Parking was generally a hassle. The lots were too small. Car was broken into in the complex (an 89 Eagle Summit - nothing fancy). Thus. you should be concerned with security. We also has roly-polies upon move-in and cockroaches! The exterminator came on numerous occasions before the problem was finally solved. Also, the placement of the dumpsters was miserable. You were forced to either carry the trash about a quarter of a mile or ride with the trash in (or on) the car - none of these options was pleasant! Overall, the apartment was spacious, however, it was VERY over-priced. The pool and tennis courts were in good condition, however, you should be cautious regarding security, number of parking spaces, the quality of the apartment build, and the trash situation. As I mentioned, I moved out approximately 2.5 years ago. Thus. things may have changed for the better. Thought you should know...
