Going downhill fast!

I lived in these apartments for three years before moving out. When i first moved in, I loved the friendly staff, the huge living space and the convenient location. As others have mentions, things are going downhill. It's impossible to get maintenance to come out to make repairs, even for major items like broken toilets. The switching of gas companies cost me a fortune and a black mark on my credit since residents were never kept informed as to what was going on. The controlled access gate has not worked in years. The complex keeps upping the price for water and garbage even between leases, leaving residents with no choice about paying the fees. the rent increases are reasonable, but hold out for a better price -- they are losing tenants and may negotiate. Don't ever turn in your letter of intent to move out late -- they reserve the right to charge you two extra months of rent, even if you're out by the date stated on your lease.
