Considering the location, the price can't be beat. It's plusses are it's location and city views from the upper floors. Minuses include, cramped apartments. microscopic kitchens with *ancient* ranges (I'd not recommend any heavy duty cooking here) the place is good for single males (like myself) who don't cook. Many of the apartments were still equipped with *ancient* fridges that were *not* frost free (mine was, however). The water and electricity frequently went out but not enough to be a constant problem.
I found the on site cleaners and convenience store very handy (although the latter could have had later hours and be better stocked).
I'd actually move back to the Darlington, if I decided I wanted again to be in that part of town. It's such a good deal price wise. If you need something affordable (I do) then I recommend it. If you want the location but can afford something nicer, by all means don't bother with The Darlington. The only reason I left was because I needed more space (I became engaged). If you are going to have more than one person in the apartment then you'd be *very* uncomfortable. Their biggest one bedroom units are very small.
