I have read tons of reviews and most are very negative or overly positive. I have lived in these apartments for a years and I will give a totally fair assessment of the apartment complex.
Parking:
The parking for my apartment was great. Some apartments are able to park under the buildings. It is nice to have the car never get rained on or have the frost. It all depends on were the apartment is located though on how good the parking can be. The only reason the mine was good was because I had an end unit. If you dont have one, the parking is terrible. The spots that are available in front are limited and are never open. You'll never find one at night because of all the people having parties. the parking under the building have gates to help protect the cars but there are still break ins. plus the gate move slow as hell.
Location:
The location isnt ideal but it is ok. If you want to take MARTA then you are in luck because you can walk to it easily. If you drive and leave a little late you will be stuck in traffic for a while especially if you try and leave the apartment between 5 and 7. I took me 1 hour to move 1 mile. On the positive side, you are very close to 400 and everything you could want is with in 3 miles (food, bars, mall, etc).
The Apartment:
I looked at the apartment twice before i decided to move in. It looked great. I had brand new flooring all over and the upgraded kitchen. The layout was awesome. It was a open plan, 1100 sq ft, and was one of the better plans that i have seen in Atlanta without being $1500. That is the best thing about this whole complex. The down side is huge here. The floors and walls are paper thin. You will hear EVERYTHING that goes on around you. I once heard the people above me tv perfectly till 2 in the morning. you'll hear every footstep! All throughout the day you will hear people talking outside who are coming back from MARTA and 90% of the people who drive in have the bass turned up so loud that it could move pictures! There are a ton of parties there and it doesnt matter what day it is. People are outside smoking weed, drinking, and being loud a hell, but nothing is ever done about it. The gates to come from the parking area under the building to the stairs going to the apartments always are slammed! It is a steel gate and has a huge spring that slams it shut. Also the doors to the apartments are slammed contently. You always know when your neighbors are leaving. The upgraded apartments have a nice kitchen but the refrigerator is very cheap and there isnt much cabinet space.
I dont recommend living here at all. The place looks nice from the outside but it is a hole. I am a young professional and couldnt wait till I moved out to finally get some quiet.
