I moved into Dunwoody Place Apartments in 2002 and lived there until the Spring of this year. It used to be a really nice community with good management. This, however, has changed. The crime rate (which was seemingly non-existent my first year or two) has risen, the gates rarely work properly, and I started to feel less safe. Then, with a drug bust there, I'm just glad I got out when I did. It certainly isn't a nice representation of Dunwoody, and it's worth more money to live in a Post complex or something of the like (especially if you are living alone). When I moved out, the management company continued to automatically withdraw my rent out of my bank account (even though I had properly filled out all forms), and didn't even let me know once they caught the error. It took over a month to get my money back (that I lost interest on and they gained interest on). Overall, the new management company taking care of the complex seems ineffecient and have done nothing to better the complex -- it as only gotten increasingly worse. Additionally, most of the people in the front office are rude.
