I have lived here for a while now, because it's very close to my job and the commute works well for me and my family. Although I'm not yet ready to buy a house, I will risk moving to another complex for a year rather than live in this place any longer. Nowadays, you are lucky to get a live person on the phone when you call the leasing office (voicemail has become the norm over the past 6 months). When you leave a message, don't expect a response before at least 2 days. This goes for any maintenance issues you may have to. Two dangerous maintenance problems in and around my apartment took 2 and 3 days respectively to get a response. The parking is becoming horrible... and who on earth appraises the rental applications around here lately''' The crime rate has gone up dramatically, given the Meth Lab bust (with a very "impressive" cache of weapons, according to the News), the car break-ins, the apartment burglaries, the domestic disputes.. ah, I could go on. This place is just truly horrible. The "management" are a joke.. the grounds are sad and sorry.. and the "mandatory" valet trash service that we were just informed we had to pay an extra $20 a month for!!!.. please!!! Oh, and don't even get me started about the cars that drive through at all hours of the night and morning with their radios blaring the base to an ear-shattering level. A lovely wake-up call. Hi. Wow, I was unpleasantly surprised to read this review given that I was considering moving back to this community! We lived there from mid 2001 to late 2002 and it was a pretty great place then. Would you be so kind as to let me know of any other desirable communities in the same area, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm trying to move back into the same district for the schools.
