Not enough parking (near your apt.) Let me explain, you can park on the "excess lot" in the rear of the complex.
Residents leave garbage in front of doors at night (overflowing the trash bins provided).
Consistent crime in the complex.
I was told the gate cameras do not work (they are for deterring people from busting through gate). Which isn't deterring anyone, as it still happens weekly anyway.
No security patrol (much needed).
You will always find people loitering near front office in parking lot in the evenings; sleeping in car, trying to tail you when you drive in, etc.
Apartment filthy when moving in, but was told since carpet was replaced prior to...what else needed to be done. Marks on walls, ceilings, cobwebs, floors not mopped, tub backed up with prior tenant(s) hair, etc. YUCK. When asking them to come out to clean it...looked at like I had 18 heads. Guess, their standards = is FILTH.
Nice floorplan but cheap fixtures, lots of storage space but thin walls.
Washer/Dryer in unit, but entry level model that leaks, squeeks, and cant fit more than 3 pr jeans in it.
Maintenance crew very nice and willing to help!
Bottom line...its an apartment complex. You will have noisy neighbors, loud music, and some inconveniences.
But there are some things this complex CAN do to improve its safety. Its cleanliness shouldnt be a option but a requirement.
Save your money for a home/condo. Thats my best recommendation.
