I moved in Empirian Sept. 1st. I really like the location, it was a lot closer to my job and the apartments were really nice and the rent was reasonable. But I have to let everyone know about this apartment.
The maintenance is very slow and they come when they want. I ha dot call the office like 5 times before they fixed my bedroom wal which had a hole in it when I moved in. They just finished it like 10 days ago (took them long enough).
Just 3-4 weeks ago, I spoted what I have dreaded to encounter anywhere I rest my head. Water bugs. For those of you that don't know what they are, they are large, black, fat roaches with wings. I grosses me out to even talk about them now.
My apartment is very clean becaus the tought of having any kind of insect in my place is repulsive. These are no regular roaches. They are hard as hell to kill and very smart and they are fas as hell. Eel! The first night I saw THEM, there was one in the kitchen, one in the living room and ONE IN MY BEDROOM!
Okay people, I may sound like i am taking it too far, but I feeL like no one and I mean no one should live under those terms! I am being very honest hear. They are outside at night, you see them run by your foot. Anyway needlees, to say, I am paranoid about things like that.
Okay, so I had this problem and I wanted to move, I asked the leasing agent, Autumn, abiut having any problems with pests or insects before I moved in, when I first went to go see the apartments and she flat out lied to me. Now I am stuck.
I have tried to contact the manager and she has yet to return my calls and it has been 3 weeks. I have gone to the office and she is never there. I am feel very betrayed and annoyed at the whole. I have asked many tenets and they all have the problem and just accept it. That is so not cool.
I gave my 60 day notice and I am moving January 3rd.
Please people, do your investigation before u move anywhere. It may be your worst nightmare!
