I lived in the "main building" of The Westchester for almost a year and I didn't like it. The parking garage situation was ridiculous, not to mention the 1/4 mile walk from the parking deck to my apartment unit.
Add to the fact that I was paying $1000 a month for a small, dark one-bedroom unit and needless to say, I was NOT very interested in renewing my lease when the time came.
What I did LOVE about the community though is the location. The proximity to Buckhead, Northlake, Emory, and Midtown is too good to be true. Long story short, I hated living in the "main building" so I decided to move to one of the buildings up on the hill and I absolutely LOVE it. It's truly a different world. Bright airy apartments, personal garages (should you choose to rent one), and great views.
What I have to deal with now is loud a$$ Emory kids occassionally partying in the parking lot but those instance are few and far between.
