If you can afford the ridiculous market rent at this place, you can afford to live someplace much nicer. I don't have much to say about the staff. They are friendly, but don't know if they are helpful or not.
The apartments themselves are beautiful, but that is the only thing going for them. We were excited about moving in and have lived here for only one year (they've only been leasing for about that long) and the place has become awful. "Seasonal bugs" including spiders and ants have moved into my apartment and made themselves comfortable. I have become well acquainted with my upstairs neighbors private life and can let you know if he is sleeping, watching TV, closing his door, walking around, or using the restroom. Your private life will all too soon become the business of anyone living around you if you move in here. Anyone walking up the stairs sounds like they have on lead shoes and weigh 500 pounds.
Parking is enough of a situation to make you move. They have garages you can rent, if you're not already blowing your paycheck on rent, but no one does (at least not for their vehicles). Don't go anywhere after eight on a weeknight if you expect to have a spot when you return. There's nowhere to park, which forces people to use the handicapped spots, no parking zones, and middle of the road. All these cars everywhere makes you have to do a 10-point turn just to get out of a legal parking space. Your car will be hit, trust me. If you're out late on a Saturday night, don't drive home. You're just as good off walking from where you've been then from the spot you finally found on the grass on the property.
As for security, the gates' phone system for guests to use is constantly down, forcing them to leave the gates wide open for all who want to just trot right in, sometimes for weeks at a time. Then the staff sends you friendly reminders not to let anyone in behind you as "we have been experiencing car break-ins." Wonder why'
Needless to say, my experience has not been a good one and I can't wait to flee this horrible apartment. The sound of your friends saying "Oh, I love your place!" just isn't enough anymore.
Anyway, no more complaining from me, just don't waste your money at this place. It's nowhere near worth it.
