Lindmont Apartments are HORRIBLE! I have been living there for about 8 months, and that is 8 months too long. My neighbors house was broken into, a man was robbed and SHOT outside my house, two men were shot and killed across the street, you hear nothing but Mexican music blasting at all hours, and OFTEN (at least once a day) you will hear gun shots. I have become a professional at ducking behind something. Lindmont apartments are in the GHETTO... Other than all of that what adds to the frustration how I feel the Lane company lied and defrauded me. I put my deposit down with Epic (who previously owned it) however, Lane company bought the property from Epic as an INVESTMENT to build expensive condos and townhouses there and tear down the current buildings. The lane company knew they were doing this prior to me moving in, however, they did not tell any inform me of this. I'm sure upper management knew, however, it was not in their best interest to tell their residents, so I moved in unknowing that they would be kicking me out to tear down the apartments. Although they are going to kick all of the residents out we are not allowed to move before our lease or they will fine us exuberant charges. would of never moved in, however, since the area is unsafe and the apartments are not doing anything to correct this, I look forward to moving out. For a little while they hired rent a cops, however, they didn??t last for long. One would think that after a man was shot and robbed outside the building that they would of brought the rent a cops back, however, they didn??t. I cant wait to move and due to the fact that the property is terrible, and I was lied to and defrauded, I will never move into another Lane property.
