I had written the previous rating (6/2003) and I had to follow up on how I have witnessed this complex's decline.

The main change is the loss of one of the best leasing office people I've ever known. (She went on to a better position at another company.) The people that are in charge now truly do not care about the tenants. I have spoken on the phone twice with the new person and in response to a direct question she replied, "I don't know." And that was the end of the story. It wasn't, "hmmm... I'm not sure, but let me find out and I'll call you back." Nope, it was a flat out, "I don't know," i.e., 'I don't care.'

Also with the new office staff has come a lack of upkeep/safety care. Whereas in the past people were not supposed to let their dogs run behind the individual buildings, but take their dogs to the dog park at the far west side of the complex, now they are walking their dogs in people's backyards, letting the dogs run freely without leashes (there are leash laws in GA) and calling for their dogs "here doggy!" at 1:00am, waking people up. Does the management care' No.

My car recently was broken into - the window smashed and the radio stolen. When I called the leasing office to report it & ask if anybody had heard/seen anything, she said, "no." And even though I had introduced myself & apt. #, she suddenly took interest, "wait what was your name''" But that's as far as it went, then she said, "well didn't you get the flyer sent out about break-ins in the mailbox'" This was all she was truly concerned about because that's as far as her liability went. No... I did not see that flyer. Found out from the courtesy officer later in the day the reason I didn't see the flyer was because her copier broke and so instead of following up with people who didn't get a flyer, she just posted one above the mailboxes. If I had at least known there was a threat, I would have taken precautions and maybe I'd still have a radio now. Thanks a lot.

Another safety issue has to do with lighting. Sometimes it comes on, sometimes it doesn't. The front gate is always getting run over, but it doesn't keep walk-ins from walking on in anyway. It's not a "security" gate by any measure.

Also the upkeep of the grounds has gone downhill. There is trash laying around, a big collection of cigarette butts in one area, and the pine straw covering is now barely there, leaving only the dirt ground visible. Not very attractive.

Plus, the tenants don't give a hoot about being quiet, so if you have any aversion to bass pumping through your walls, don't move here - the walls have no insulation against noise pollution.

I would never recommend this place to anyone now. Especially with an office staff who doesn't care. That's just the pits.
