I lived at Forest Hills for less than a year, to say the least, it was the worst environment I've ever dwelled in.
Yeah, it derived its name due to the location and the surrounding trees, but dang, who wants to live with insects species that have probably yet to be classified' Not only that, but the outside lighting is terrible, so if you're single, be wary. What else' Oh, yeah, the floors are literally sinking, so you'll have to watch your step! The trash compactor runs over on average once a month, so forget about inviting guests to your place--so uninviting. Yeah, the rent is decent, but trust me when I say you pay for what you get.
As far as the staff is concerned, Pam is cool, but the manager, I think her name is Kathy, and Dawn--psssst! Customer service doesn't exist in their vocabulary, and the management company, Pinnacle, doesn't fare any better. All I can say is don't be fooled; sooner or later, they will show their true colors, especially if you have a valid concern.
There are so many other apartment communities in the Vinings area that are not only nicer and comparable in price to Forest Hills, but won't require you to put up with the !@#$ from the office staff! Do your research, and don't settle!
...and by the way Dawn, stop using words because you've heard someone rattle them off--especially if you're not going to use them in the correct context. Try looking up the word "mannerism".
