Quit complaining about the crime and safety. If you had done some actual research then you would know that Cabbagetown is still a transitional neighborhood that still has crime and poverty. If you can't handle it, then I sugguest you move back to the boring generic suburbs where you obviously belong. As a new loft owner in the H building - the neighbors are extremely nice, friendly, and considerate. Everyone says hello and holds the doors for people with their hands full. The only noise I hear is the neighbors above playing the piano which I absolutely love. The difference here is that owners have more respect than renters.

Yes, Aderhold doesn't have the best staff, but when you have an issue, you just have to hound them until the issue is fixed. I plan on joining the HOA and in this I hope to improve the management quality. My efforts will also include the treatment of renters, which my goal being to advance my appreciation value of my loft.

Hmmm Trying to boost your property value?

Yes, I think the owners in your building are a bit different from the people in my building who treat the public space as their personal waste receptacles. I am not lying or embellishing when I tell that I once entered the elevator, and not only had someone's dog relieved themselves, but there was a used condom in the corner as well. I am a renter, though, and that is certainly not my mode of operation. The problem is that management cannot effectively address these situations. Having reasonable expectations does not mean I belong in some cookie-cutter suburban development.

ok you gave this place a 5 rating yet you admit the staff is not the best? why would you give them a good rating with problems like that?

Owner or renter is doesn't matter. What matters is this a liveable place? Feces in the elevator wow I use to experience that in 2000. It seems like it has gotten worse. Lets see....you think Aderhold would want his money the same way you want results.....mmmmmmmm!
