I agree. The property is amazing to say the least. Conversions are always hard and this place is no acception. Ive met many owners and very few renters BUT they are the ones who seem to have attitude. Change can be painful and maybe thats why all the complainers come here. To complain about silly stuff without looking at the big picture.

Hmmm...if you were me, and always paid your rent on time (not subsidized, mind you,) never caused any trouble, quiet, clean, law-abiding...how would you feel if your roof leaked for almost two years, and your elevator had animal feces in it, and vandals scrawled graffiti in your building? I really don't think it's unreasonable to be upset, and I certainly don't have an "attitude." I'd watch that snobbery, Mr. Lofters, when lumping all the renters together. And really, it's not polite to tell people to shut up. Gee, and I thought the "owners" were supposed to be the classy ones in this place.

Our experience there was very similar. I was in the construction and cabinet business for five years. What I saw at FCM was atrocious. I found ungrounded junction boxes. Plumbing leaked - including pipes containing urine and feces. Streaks on our walls from upstairs leaks were never repainted for months - after verbal and written appeals. This led to a chronic roach and ant problem. Management has a massive communications deficit. Rules apparently are arbitrarily set. We never received notices of construction events in advance. Many times towing was enforced during a construction event without any advanced written warning. So I am a complainer? You bet with damn good reason to complain. Property management is not a business for these people. It's more like a hobby. They just don't care. Legal action must be hinted at or threatened before anything gets done!

wow! and just to think I was going to move there. I mean I was really excited about it. I'm from NY and looking for city life, so I felt this would be a good move for me being Chamblee is just blah. I witnessed some racist remarks about who is responsible for this disaster. Well i'm black and I would never want to live in those conditions. It's not a black thing, it's an economic thing. No different from low income trailer parks. So please stop with the ignorance! Thank God for this site and all of the reviews because it stopped me from making the worst mistake of my life.
