overpriced, non-responsive

This property was just bought by Gables management, and it is no improvement over Lincoln. My car was involved in two hit and runs since I have lived here and they have not offered to help me in any way. The complex states that cameras are in place, but that is apparently a lie since no tapes have materialized after asking three times.
All the nelly --- guys that now run the place are just interested in raising the rent. They have left mold growing under my carpet, never addressed plumbing concerns, never addressed a major leak in my bedroom, never addressed re-painting my apartment where the damage occured and never addressed the fact that there are three grown men living above me in a one bedroom apartment. If they do come out, you have to ask them back three times to get the work done properly.
The parking situation is ridiculous; the gym is sub-par; the pool is dirty and trash piles up like there is a garbage strike on the weekends. There are several drug dealers living around my apartment. This place just sucks. DO NOT MOVE HERE unless u like thin walls...I can actually hear my neighbor snore through the walls and know every step they take above me.
To top it off, after living here for almost two years, they suddenly raised my rent 200 bucks to renew the lease. I was paying $785, so it was worth putting up with some of the crap, but it sure isn't worth $985. This place is quickly turning into a ghetto. There is a wave of crime at least every other month. I have lived in many complexes and this one is worse than my college dorm!
