1) Unprofessional staff. Poor customer service. Staff not knowledeable.
2) I had to turn down a promotion at my job b/c it required me to move. I could not afford to break my lease b/c they would stick me with a $3,300.00 fine.
3) Hoodlums, drug dealers, and hookers everywhere. Very unsafe. I hate going outside after dark.
4) Absolutely no parking. People are forced to park on the curbs and such. Someone keeps parking on the sidewalk in front of my building, which forces us to walk in the shrubbery to get around his car and go up the steps. Management/Security has done nothing about this.
5) Gate has been broken at LEAST 90% of the time I've lived here. It has come down on my car twice and I've had to get the paint buffed. Management says they are not responsible for the gate, yet they won't even keep it in functional condition.
6) I hear everything that goes on in the apartment above and below me. Poor sound proofing.
7) I have maintenance issues from 9 months ago. I finally gave up.
8) My hot water heater has rust in it, which means any hot water(bath, sink, washing machine) is an orange color. They refuse to replace my hot water heater, even after a took a glass of orange water to the office.
9) I moved in right when Gables took over and I got a great rate, now I see why my rent is cheap.....this place is so awful to live.
10) I've been renting in the city for over eight years (midtown/buckhead) and I have never felt so unsafe in my entire life. They refuse to put security cams on the property, even after reported robberies, auto thefts, and two rapes this year.
11) Someone tried to enter my apartment, thinking I was out of town. When I screamed for them to go away, they took off running. My front door is still damaged from them trying to pry it open with a screwdriver.
12) Someone keyed my new car and I had to pay for the repairs myself. Body work on a '05 Mercedes CLK 500 isn't cheap.
13) Someone busted a beer bottle on the ground then kicked the broken glass under my tire. I had to sweep it out before going to work.
14) And once again, the office staff is beyond incompetent. One of the leasing ladies walks around with no shoes, and the Assistant Property Manager, Bernard (Ben) is the biggest ------- on this planet....treating us as it is some priviledge to walk in that office and us and our problems are beneath him. My rent pays your paycheck you friggin LOSER ! !

First off I want to say that Gables at Lenox hills is a great place to live. Yes all apartment complexes have problems, however Gables has their share. No one has ever been raped here, since i've been staying here and that's a long time. To that person who was talking about ben , he is a nice assistant property manager, Yes i will agree about the statement you made about the gate, but that other stuff you are just a complusive liar. I have been living here a long time and i never seen a clk 500 come through here. WHy don't you state your name you cowart. My name Blair and i stay in building 900. Gables does not have drug dealers and prostitutes. If it is so bad why do you live here, doesn't your company pay you enough money, you should be sued for slander, liar liar pants on fire

The earlier response is from "BigBoobs"???? I think I know why she's so sensitive about other residents complaining about the prostitutes and drug dealers that are living here....Blair is an exotic dancer that works at the creepy nude place across the street. YES there HAVE been rapes here - I've been asked by the police if I saw anything on two occasions. One was a robbery/assault, one a rape. "BigBoobs" is the type that we have to live with here - it is those people and the terrible office staff and leasing company that are causing all of the decent people here to move out!

hold up lisa b#tch marie, what "creepy nude place across the street" are u referring to?? oh the PINK PONY, #1 STRIP CLUB IN ATLANTA for oh i don't know like the past decade or so?? have u ever BEEN to the pony?? well guess what?? your brothers, dads, grandfathers, uncles, cousins, nephews, friends, boyfriends and husbands have all been to the goddamned pony because it is one hell of a good time. so you may want to check your dumb f#cking a$$ before you go generalizing your nearest and dearest because, when you make those kind of ignorant comments, you're only making yourself look like a f#cking idiot!!
