I have lived at this property for 3 years now and it has come time again to sign my lease. I am searching for another property as I feel unsafe in the area and saftey seems NOT to be high on the property managers list of importance. You have to realize that this area is not the greatest (I think the strip club across the way doesn't help an dClub Miami is pretty sacry as well. The Buford Hwy area is very dangerous though they are trying to build it up slowly but surely. Since I have lived there we have had many break-ins and car thefts. I was a victim of having my car broken into and the cameras in the garages WERE NOT working. The problem was that I was paying per month to park in the garages. It was extremely upsetting. Management did not help me at all with this issue. If you DO move in REFUSE to pay parking for the garages and DON'T even park their. Ladies it can be very dangerous at night. I have felt very unsafe there at times. Please consider using the alarm systems each apartment has, however, know that the office has 3 or 4 universal codes that they can use to disarm ANY alarm even if you are there (in the shower) and don't hear the knock on the door. That Scares me. I called a maintenance worker to ask why my alarm would not set and he called out every universal code they use and told me these would work in ANY apartment to disarm the system. How many others did he give these codes to' This means anybody can break in and use that code to shut off my alarm and they can take their time stealing or worse. I am VERY afraid to be here any longer and I am trying to get out. I am not trying to bash the place too badly becasue it has been my home for the last 3 years but I think the rent is WAY too much for a place where I feel unsafe. I JUST want to be honest. All apartments have their undesireables especially RIGHT in the city but please watch who is around you and what you are doing and try not to stay out late at night by yourself in the complex.

I know this is long but I want to be fair since I have been there a while.
Since living at Gables Lenox Hills I have received letters saying that there have been 3 sexual predators on the loose in the neighborhood, several thefts, my car break in (I was lucky my boyfriend was with me because I saw the two men pull in behind me and wait to attack. Police said they were suspects for other charges against women and sexual assaults in the area but probably refrained from coming after me because a man was with me) It still gives me chills.
I saw a drunk girl try to sleep behind the bushes of the 800 building, A drunk woman came asking for me to help her find har cats one night at my door. Two men approched me asking me what I was doing for the rest of the night and they ran away as soon as my big neighbor saw what was happening and ran toward me. Last but not least the woman that lives below me and across the way had her crazy boyfriend arrested a few nights ago. My mother almost got attacked by a Pit-Bull coming up to visit me one day. They claim these animals are illegal to keep here but I know of one guy who is running a breeding program fo rthe dogs out of his apartment. The managemnet IS NOT PAYING ATTENTION to ANYTHING.
Oh yeah and my air conditioning broke and I was out of air for more than half of last summer. It took them SO Long to fix it. HOT as.... well you know ;)

I need to move soon as I am realizing that there is NO justification for raising my rent as high as they are.

You have to be lying. You lived there for three years and put up with all that, that sounds fishy to me. I have been aresident here for a couple yeears and have never encountered all of that. The managment is good, the property looks good and yes every property may have small issues but what you are claiming is crazy.

I lived at this property for 2 years. On several occasions I asked them to fix my broken garbage disposal, clogged shower, missing screen (I lived on the third floor and came home to find my apartment infested with ants on several occasions). Only once did they come to unclog the tub (and the dual sinks in the bathroom). They re-clogged up the next day, BTW. I moved out and they charge me $375.00 for cleaning up the bathroom and kitchen....said I ruined 5 year old carpeting. It is now on my credit record as I refused to pay them a cent......have to believe every word this former resident said.....If you have repair requests make sure they are well documented as you may get screwed upon move out (similar thing happened to a friend of mine who lived there...he was only billed $150.oo)

I dont think the Pink Pony is the problem...but Club Miami is for sure! All the clubbers want to park in the complex. My car had its wheels stolen while I was on vacation...this complex is not safe...I lived here 6 months and left b/c I had been robbed and both my car and my husband's car was towed. It is not worth the affordable rent. Do not move here-for your safety and sanity!

First of all, I'd like to say that I don't think the location is all too bad, however, last night a girl here was abducted, raped, and nearly killed by her neighbor. So regardless of what you think about PP and Miami, the criminals live HERE, so you probably shouldn't!

excuse me?? in what way, shape or form does the pink pony make this area "not the greatest"?? as an employee of said club i can assure u that our patrons have absolutely ZERO interest whatsoever in your f#cking apartment complex. the pony has ample guest parking and valet, not to mention the fact that the entrance isn't even ON buford highway. club miami is a different story entirely; leaving work on saturday nights i'm more than tempted to bowl over all the idiots meandering across the f#cking road where they have no business being in the first place-that's what the crosswalks are for. however when it comes to the influence of the pink pony-the number one strip club in atlanta, thankyouverymuch-you need to get your facts straight -------.
