Mixed Bag - Great if location is your prime consideration

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003
Pluses: Great Location - five minutes and you're on I-85, GA 400, or Downtown Connector - ten minutes to the middle of Buckhead or Midtown and Piedmont Park; The property landscaping and exterior of the units is attractive; Finished, attractive interior halls with tuscan-look tile; Nicely finished kitchens with white appliances and Pergo-style wood floors; Decent gym and nice pool area; Walking distance to MARTA station; DSL available - pre-wired apartment LAN so you can network computers in several rooms of the apartments; Ceramic tile foyers;
Minuses: VERY loud apartments - be prepared to know when your neighbors are making love and walking around and what their TV and musical tastes are; Poor build quality - multiple interior doors that don't latch or won't fully shut - poor weatherstripping or cracks under exterior doors - settling buildings - Single-pane windows that sweat excessively in cold weather; Having to drive up multiple floors of a speed-bump controlled garage if you live on upper floors; "Demonic" property access gates that attack your car; One dumpster for entire property - not centrally located; Haughty and unhelpful property management team; Phone problems - when new tenants move in or out, Bellsouth frequently screws up wiring for other apartments and it takes several days to work out; Advanced Telemedia cable only - frequent outages and satellite signal problems interupt viewing; Apartments near or facing Piedmont road have lots of around the clock road noise from Piedmont and I-85 beyond; Inconsiderate neighbors who park where ever they feel like and blast loud music in the parking garage near apartments; Lots of hoodlum neighbors with no visible means of support coming and going at all hours of day and night; Problems with theft and vandalism to vehicles; P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS
