First and foremost are the security concerns. A few months ago someone used a master key to break into multiple aparment at seemingly staked out times to steal 10's of thousands of dollars of priceless possessions and Gables still has not made significant improvements to the property in terms of security. Cars are ever so ofter broken into or stolen. Its funny, this place has video cameras in the lots but those cameras evidently dont provide any info on anything. There are periodic infestations of both insects and rats. Gables has tried to strategically place rat traps in the middle of their breezeways as if paying such a high rent is not enough for them to be more considerate and appropriate. But to the point: I've lived at this complex for the last two years and since Gables has taken over this has no longer remained a nice place to live. Its interesting to feel as a part of community for most of my tenure to suddenly feeling like a dollar sign to these people. They don't care, they make it seem as they understand what you're going through when they treat you like crap, and never seem to take responsibility for this community but rather just as slaves to a corporate management company, therefore it is very evident in Gables employees that they are taught that residents are rats that are locked into a contract so therefore management can do whatever they want with no consideration to these individuals who call this place home. I'd understand if this was a hotel, but this is where people live and raise their kids. Man I hate these new managment people.
