I'm not going to waster too much time writing a novel here, but for all you prospects considering moving here, I suggest you look elsewhere. I'm getting out of here as soon as my lease is up. The person's review before me was RIGHT ON!!! 5 years ago this place was heaven. Since then, the turn-around in leasing staff, maintenence staff, lower-qualifications of who they allow to let in here just to make a buck is rediculous. The pretty exterior of the place is purely decieving... It only looks that way from the outside! There is so much drama amongst the people who run this place it's rediculous. ---- the property manager tells you to go screw yourself with a smile on his face, he cares nothing about the people here but just to show a profit on the books back to corporate. They keep expanding more buildings but don't hire more competent staff in maintenece and the office to handle that many more people moving in. Don't get me started on the maintenence staff. They fix things only half way, that is, if they actually feel like getting to your maintenence request that is. Half of the time they can be found slacking off at the club house shooting pool and watching tv!!! The parking deck was designed by a monkey with down syndrome, accidents galore. The onsite police officers are all shady druggies themselves. The keep upping your rent for absolutley no other reason but to take advantage of the prime location they're in, not to mention ----'s year end bonus. The overall construction of the place was very slack in internal quality, almost as though it was built to intentionally look good on the outside and have A/C's, plumbing and other crap break every week. EVEN in the brand new phase they just built!!! It's already falling apart. And to add insult to injury, since they've realized people are starting to move out, in order to keep on maintaining a flow of rent money they're applying for Section-8 housing that will be in effect by the end of the year!!! That means every low-life living off the government get's to live for $400/month right next to me'!'! Gables' slogan has always been "taking care of the way people live" but as this community is concerned, it's really more "taking care of of your rent check and the rest you can go screw yourself on"
