The apartment itself was nice - I was in the old phase - however WAY overpriced!!! I could have been paying for a $400,000 house mortgage for the monthly price they charged. The construction is horrible, outside looks ok but inside is a joke - looks like monkeys built them, for this kind of money it should have been superior -Also, FOr the price - I would have expected better service but no, the staff is totally incompetent. Each time I needed them for help I would get the run around or flat out lies. They are very unhelpful and do not have any since of customer service. They look at you like you are stupid when you need assistance like what you are asking for is beyond their comprehension. The neighborhood had disruptive loud people, and kids from other complexes would come into Gables complex and disrupt by running wild and making noise (fighting), there was also lots of late night/ early morning activity (12AM-4AM) around there and people out on the street outside the complex - the security gates were broken most of the time (which is something you are supposidly paying for!) Crime is an issue- break ins robbery, the list goes on.The policies borderline illegal - and all the "form letters" that are both degrading and demeaning - it doesn't matter if it actually pertains to you or not - you get one anyway, and if you complain the answer is - "its a form letter we give them to everyone!" Again back to the cost of living there, a form letter should not go out to residents who follow the rules and shouldnt get one - as I said the staff is lazy and incompetent. You dont get the customer service you are paying for! I could go on - just read the rest of the reviews, DONT MOVE INTO GABLES METRO!!!
