Service and amenities suck From: braddewhat Date posted: 1/21/2003 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003   I am in the middle of my lease and thinking about taking Gables up on its $200 transfer fee so I can change to another Gables complex. I have had maintenance issue after maintenance issue, I think it is due to the age of the apartments. Leaking fridges, noisy pipes, no water pressure, exploding hoter water heaters, etc. The grounds often need cleaning, I usually track leaves into my first floor apartment because there is always a pile outside my door. The hottub never works and the gates are always breaking. Sure, its a cheap place to live, but your money could be spent better somewhere else.
