Apartments are old and buggy

To start positively, the leasing agents and maintenance staff are all great.
And I never had any noise problems or complaints from neighbors.
But the apartments are seriously in need of upgrading - they are 30 years old.
When my neighbor was smoking in his apartment, I smelled it through the vent.
The kitchens are small, appliances and layout are very outdated.
I had several bug problems - big cockroaches from outside, huge spiders hanging outside my doorway, and (somehow) ants in my bathtub faucet - just awful.
I decided to live here for the fireplace and the vaulted ceilings but it just wasn?t worth it.
The apartments are all made of wood, lots of large trees outside the window, it is right next to the chatahoochee, and its got a very log-cabin type feel, not very bright at all.
