I moved in here a few months back when the new buildings just started opening. I looked at about 15 other complexes (no joke!) around Atlanta, but this place definitely stood out. The office staff is great, the complex and apartments are brand new, and thus, immaculate. The apartments are not only new, they are beautiful. Gables doesn't mind if you paint, which I love. The office staff is great. I just call in whatever request, and it's usually filled pretty quickly. I was a tad worried about the fact that the complex is not gated, but my fears have since been allayed. This neighborhood is very nice. It's right in the middle of town, but yet quiet and feels very much like a neighborhood. You'll see people walking their dogs, joggers and families out playing all day. Just a fun, little neighborhood tucked away between Midtown and Emory (which is half a mile away). If you're looking for a place somewhere in town, I highly suggest you at least take a look here. I used this site to help locate my apartment, and I looked at all the highly rated complexes in town. After looking at all of the places, I thought this one was the cream of the crop. Nothing has happened since I moved in here to change my mind about it.
