I've been here for over 1 1/2 yr and I'm fed up!! The noise is ridiculous!!! And once you complain, management turns on you or tells you to rent a house...The noisy neighbor has no consequences though...they advertise high ceilings, but Id take an extra foot of instillation any day...I can literally hear every single foot step of the neighbors above me and the neighbors conversations next door...sure it looks nice and they definitely charge enough! But be aware!! The villas (the older section 1980's) is rat and black mold infested and should be condemned...(Seriously I lived there and moved to the new buildings b/c my health was becoming so poor!) Maintenance is nice but in order to get the work done you have to go through the office, which will ignore your calls and be flat out rude to your face! Weve also had several cars stolen (like a Porsche and a Yukon in the same month) along with broken windows constantly&they advertise covered parking (which is handy) yet my car was hit in the parking lot and of course nothing could be done&My advice- for the price youll pay& RENT A HOUSE!

First, learn to spell. Secondly, get a clue. You live in Atlanta--cars get stolen here every day. Just because you live in a nice apartment does not mean you are ammune to crime. Thirdly, every apartment is noisy. Even a house is noisy. Don't you remember living at home and hearing your family upstairs in other rooms? Sure--your health was being affected in the villas--that's a good one.

First, great999, learn to spell yourself: It's "immune". Not "ammune". Idiot. Second, this response is clearly written by a management office flunky. These children are barely out of college and stuck in the lousiest job they could hustle at the career fair. Finally, it's comical to compare hearing noises within one's home, created by members of one's own family, to the constant barrage of noise coming from total strangers in a ridiculously over-priced, pathetically built rental. |

And, thinwallshighprices, what are you? A spoiled Emory brat who has been given everything your whole life and would have no idea how to get anything on your own? Move! I am one of your fellow neighbors and I can't stand the fact that someone like you lives here. You bring the value down on this place.

atlga25, I don't attend Emory. Although what that has to do with the substandard construction of Gables Rock Springs is entirely beyond me. If I were a 97-year old high school drop-out the walls would be just as thin, the wiring just as poorly installed, and you would still be a management office flunky. That said, what I am is a mature, 30-something professional who expects integrity for his top dollar. How that lowers the value of this place is beyond me.

To Thinwallshighprices: you could not be more dead on. I moved out of that hell hole last month and I could not be more happy. I still live in an apartment, and guess what, it's not as noisy. That's because the office staff here actually listens when you complain. And the people who live in Gables and make all the noise are the Emory spoiled brat kids. So I guess that's who they cater to. atlga25 should not be down on the people who rent all those high priced cheaply made units. That's how he/she gets a paycheck.
