March 2008: We moved here from out of state about 9 months ago and are really liking it so far. The buildings are very aesthetically pleasing and there is plenty of room to walk your dog. We have never had problems with noise level, hearing our neighbors, etc. The gym is nice except some of the cardio machines are really loud. Love the pool, and there is a nice grill area right next to it. For the most part, the neighborhood is safe. There have been a few car break-ins here and there. Unfortunately there is no gate or security at the front of the complex; I would prefer there was. The carpet is thin and crappy and we don't have a sprayer on our sink... but those are minor things that you get used to I suppose. The location can't be beat... just minutes from Virgina Highlands and Midtown.

Update May 2008: Although we love the location, we are pretty much fed up with the completely sub-par management of this property. The office staff most likely has a combined IQ of 30. One day I called to see if a package had arrived and one of the leasing consultants left me on hold for 7 minutes and never came back and picked up the phone. Luckily I was close to home so I stopped in to pick up the package anyway, and the girl said, "Oh I never came back on the line'" Talk about bad customer service. They have also lost one of our rent checks (paid before the due date) and then tried to assess a $200 late fee. My compliments do go out to the maintenance staff, they always get the jobs done quickly. For what we are paying though, we could rent something much nicer (and less expensive!) elsewhere and intend to do just that.

This was positively written by the management. Why would any person besides the management come onto this website in defense of this community if they hadn't a financial or other interest?
