Worth the money if you can get a rent special. However...

I was renting a studio and six months into my lease, I got custody of my son unexpectedly and I needed a larger apartment. Although they were still offering rent specials to new tenants, they would not offer me the special rate for a two room apartment despite my willingness to sign for a full year. Further, they wanted to charge me for breaking the current lease. I decided my son and I could make do with the studio.

Then, three months before the end of my lease, I had a heart attack that put me in a financial bind. Management promised me that I could pay what I could when I could as long as I paid in full by the end of the lease. However, I did not get that in writing, and two weeks later, they started eviction proceedings.

In both cases, I felt the local staff really wanted and intended to help me, but Lincoln Property's corporate policy intervened.

As for the actual residence, maintenance was superb. The dishwasher and the washer/dryer went bad, and both were replaced the same days I reported the problems.

Noise is a bit of problem, especially the ground crew using leaf blowers at 8 am. C'mon, give those of us who work late into the night a bit of a break.

My only real complaint is the parking spaces are too narrow, and far too many tenants have pickup trucks and SUVs that eat up a quarter of the adjacent space.

Be aware that these are older apartments, and in my building, the roof was rotting. A large portion of the overhang near my balcony fell off during a storm and sat on the ground for almost two months before it was fixed.

This complex also has a problem with dog owners allowing their pets to defecate anywhere except in the designated area.

So, if you can get a good rate, these apartments are quite reasonable. Accessing I-285 is fairly easy, and the surrounding neighborhood is very safe. Also, the area's elementary school is SUPERB!!!
